Bryan County 911 is a division of the Bryan County Sheriff's Department.

The 911 staff consist of 15 full time employees and 2 part time employees. On an average month, the 911 centers handle about 2000 calls. There is someone available in the 911 centers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

911 ADDRESSING
A 911 address is the required physical address for your structure. This is to provide emergency responders and personnel with an accurate location in the event of an emergency. The law, which will go into effect July 1, creates a voluntary database of special needs residents that can be accessed by first responders when responding to calls
HOW DO I GET A 911 ADDRESS?
Addresses will not be assigned until there is a permit submitted through the Community Development Department. (https://evolvepublic.infovisionsoftware.com/BryanCounty/) The address is assigned during the permit process for the following permits: electrical, residential new construction, commercial new construction, manufactured home, and other utility structures. The 911 address is assigned when a structure is being built or is being moved onto the property. Vacant land with no structure on the property will not receive an address.
WHERE DO I DISPLAY MY ADDRESS?
Once assigned, the physical address should be placed on the lot and at the driveway entrance visible from the intersecting road during construction. After construction is complete, the 911 address should be displayed according to the specifications of Number and letter specifications and displaying as referenced in the Bryan County Ordinance (Article IV, Sec. 10-74)
