With the continued residential and industrial growth of the unincorporated area, the infrastructure for the Bryan County Water and Sewer System is ever expanding.  This water system provides citizens with a dependable source of drinking water and its availability helps to keep insurance ratings low within its service area in the unincorporated portion of the county.  The north end water system consists of one well site, a 500,000 elevated storage tank, and approximately 4 miles of distribution pipe. The south end consists of 4 well sites and approximately 30 miles of distribution pipe. This system serves roughly 1400 customers.  The Water and Sewer Department makes it possible for responsible residential development and has helped to make Bryan County the 6th fastest growing county in the Nation.  Mr. Kirk Croasmun oversees the operations along with the capital planning of the water and sewer infrastructure.
